ORLANDO, Fla. – Birmingham-Southern women's tennis fell to NCAA Division II Davenport University and NCAA Division I East Carolina University in day two of competition at the USTA Center. BSC moved to 4-3 overall with the losses.
Ansley Turley (Knoxville, Tenn./Knoxville Catholic HS) took the most games from her opponent against ECU before eventually falling 6-3, 6-1. Against Davenport, Alyssa Yager (Gardendale, Ala./Gardendale HS) pulled out the 6-2, 1-6, 10-8 win in the No. 2 singles position.
The Panthers close out their Orlando road trip on Sunday against Rensselaer.
