ROME, Ga. – The Birmingham-Southern women's tennis team moved to 2-0 against Southern Athletic Association opponents with their 5-4 win over Berry College Sunday.
Lexie Dillard (Jasper, Ala./Walker HS) and Ashton Henderson (Birmingham, Ala./Laurel Springs HS) continued their conference win streak. The pair won at No. 3 doubles 8-3 before going on to win their respective singles matches. Henderson won 7-5,6-2 at the No. 5 spot and Dillard won 6-4, 6-1 at No. 6 singles. They remain undefeated in conference play.
BSC stays on the road for its next matchup. The Panthers take on Rhodes College Saturday, April 6 and then take on Hendrix College on Sunday. Both matches begin at 9 a.m.
