Box Score ATLANTA – The Birmingham-Southern men's basketball team came up short on the road at Southern Athletic Association rival Oglethorpe on Sunday afternoon, falling to the Stormy Petrels 72-67.
Jumping out to a seven-point lead early in the game, the Panthers went down by four at halftime. BSC continued to keep it close in the second half, retaking the advantage with a one-point lead with less than 10 minutes to play. With the loss, Birmingham-Southern drops to 5-13 overall and 1-6 in the SAA. The Panthers return home for their next game against Berry on Friday, Jan. 24. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m.
