BSC Finishes Sixth at Tigers Invite

SEWANEE, Tenn.  – Birmingham-Southern men's and women's indoor track and field each finished sixth at the Tigers Indoor Invitational hosted by Sewanee.

The Panthers had a good showing in the sprints.  Mike Benning (Chattanooga, Tenn./Baylor School) ran a personal best 8.18 and Alexus Lindsey (Holly Pond, Ala./Fairview HS) crossed in a season best time of 9.55 in the 55m hurdles, both finishing third overall.  William Wideman (Marietta, Ga./Pope HS) and Kamryn Bendolph (Madison, Ala./Columbia HS) also placed third in the 400m dash.  And Tony Parisi (Marietta, Ga./Pope HS) ran a personal record 2:05.09 in the 800m to finish third.

BSC hits the road again.  They head to Columbia, S.C for the South Carolina Invitational February 7-8.
