BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Birmingham-Southern women's tennis improved to 3-0 on the year with its 6-3 win over Martin Methodist Monday afternoon.
Ansley Turley (Knoxville, Tenn./Knoxville Catholic HS) and Emily Enoch (Nashville, Tenn./Christ Presbyterian Academy) picked up two wins over the Redhawks. The pair teamed up in No. 2 doubles to win 8-6. Turley then defeated her No. 2 singles opponent 7-6 (9-7), 6-3. Enoch battled out of the No. 4 spot, winning 6-2, 6-1.
The Panthers hit the road next. They take on Covenant College Saturday at 1:30 p.m. CT.
