ATLANTA – The Birmingham-Southern men's swimming and diving teams placed 12 student-athletes on All-Southern Athletic Association teams, the conference announced on Monday.
Leading the Panthers on the All-SAA team are Swimmer of the Year Hayden Henderson (Tupelo, Miss./Tupelo HS), Newcomer of the Year Chase Bolding (Panama City Beach, Fla./Wyoming), and Men's Diver of the Year James Hughes (Huntsville, Ala./Grissom HS). It was the second straight year Hughes has earned the Diver of the Year honor.
The men's team placed a remarkable 11 student-athletes on the First Team and added one more on the Second Team.
