BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Birmingham-Southern men's basketball put up triple-digits for the first time this season to defeat Oglethorpe University 110-78 Sunday afternoon in Bill Battle Coliseum.
Christian Stewart (Irondale, Ala./Shades Valley HS) earned a double-double on the day. He finished with a season and game-high 26 points and 10 rebounds, making 10-of-12 from the floor.
Matt Gonda (Roswell, Ga./Roswell HS) and
Evan Sigler (Franklin, Tenn./Franklin HS) netted 15 points each, respectively. Gonda shot 75-percent from the floor, making 3-of-4 from behind the arc.
Cameron Glover (Trussville, Ala./Hewitt-Trussville HS) rounded out the Panthers in double-digits with 10.
BSC (6-2, 3-1 SAA) hits the road next. They travel to Danville, Ky. to take on Centre College Saturday, Feb. 6. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m.
