BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham-Southern football team climbed one sport in the final D3football.com poll of the season. The Panthers came in at No. 18 in the country after defeating Huntingdon in the first round of the NCAA Division III Football Championship, then fell to National Champion Mary Hardin-Baylor in the second round.

The Panthers had a record year, winning 10 games, reaching the playoffs for the first time in program history, hosting an NCAA playoff game, and leaving their mark in numerous categories in the program record book. BSC also ranked in the top 25 nationally in many team stat categories, including total offense, total defense, and rushing offense.
