BIRMINGHAM, Ala. –   Birmingham-Southern men's track and field picked up four top 10 finishes at Samford Invite #2 at the Birmingham CrossPlex to close out its 2021 indoor season.
 
Jordan Jones (Powder Springs, Ga./Hiram HS) was the Panthers top finisher on the day.  He placed sixth overall in the triple jump.  Maurice Sutherland (Meridian, Miss./Northeast HS) finished eighth.  In the 400m dash, William Wideman (Marietta, Ga./Pope HS) crossed in a personal record 51.75 seconds to place ninth.  And John Jacobs (Albany, Ga./Deerfield-Windsor HS) earned a ninth place finish in the 60m dash.
 
BSC now prepares for outdoor.  They open at the Falcon Classic in Montevallo on March 19.
