ATLANTA - After running wild against Sewanee, Jon Lewis earned Offensive Player of the Week honors for his efforts on Saturday, Oct. 22. Lewis helped the Panther improve to 5-2 overall and 3-1 in Southern Athletic Association play. 

Jon Lewis rushed 17 times against Sewanee, the second lowest attempts for the season but finished with his second highest yard total with 159 rushing yards in the Panthers 47-3 win. Along with 159 rushing yards, Lewis found the endzone three times. These marks the second time he recorded a three touchdown game and his fifth multi rushing touchdown game of his career. The last time Lewis rushed for three touchdowns in a game was four weeks ago against Point University.

The Panthers return home this Saturday, Oct. 29 as they take on Hendrix College at 1 p.m. at General Krulak Stadium.
