SPRINGFIELD, OHIO - The Birmingham-Southern men's track and field team dominated in the Steemer Showcase in Ohio.
The Panthers earned nine top 10 finishes, with Bruce Dave Jr. earned a personal record in the shot put event. BSC also had a relay team place in the meet.
Birmingham-Southern Top Finishes
- Andrew Warhurst started the string of top 10's off with an eighth place finish in the 60-meter hurdles recording a time of 9.30.
- Dom Zana earned his first top 10 finish of the season in the 400-meter dash. Zana clocked a time of 51.15.
- The 4x400-meter relay team consisting of Noah Arrington, Hunter Siddle, Dom Zana, and Maurice Sutherland earned a seventh place finish in the event.
- As the meet transitioned to the field events, Bruce Davis Jr. led off with a personal record throw of 13.53 in the shot put.
- Following that up was Maurice Sutherland who placed top five in both the long jump and triple jump to round out the top 10 finishes for the Panthers.
