SPRINGFIELD, OHIO - The Birmingham-Southern men's track and field team dominated in the Steemer Showcase in Ohio.

The Panthers earned nine top 10 finishes, with Bruce Dave Jr. earned a personal record in the shot put event. BSC also had a relay team place in the meet. 

Birmingham-Southern Top Finishes

• Andrew Warhurst started the string of top 10's off with an eighth place finish in the 60-meter hurdles recording a time of 9.30. 
• Dom Zana earned his first top 10 finish of the season in the 400-meter dash. Zana clocked a time of 51.15.
• The 4x400-meter relay team consisting of Noah Arrington, Hunter Siddle, Dom Zana, and Maurice Sutherland earned a seventh place finish in the event.
• As the meet transitioned to the field events, Bruce Davis Jr. led off with a personal record throw of 13.53 in the shot put. 
• Following that up was Maurice Sutherland who placed top five in both the long jump and triple jump to round out the top 10 finishes for the Panthers.

The Panthers will travel to Virginia Beach, Va. on Sunday, Feb. 5 as they compete in the Richard Drake Invitational hosted by Virginia Wesleyan.
