BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham-Southern men's and women's track and field programs hosted the annual BSC Panther Indoor Icebreaker to open the indoor season for many teams on Friday. The meet included teams ranging from all three NCAA divisions and NAIA.
At the conclusion of the meet, Birmingham-Southern track & field head coach
Kenneth Cox said, "It was another great meet to host and we appreciate every team and athlete that competed in our 12th annual BSC Indoor Icebreaker. We continue to have the best colleges bringing their programs to start the season off together, and look to keep up our tradition of providing an atmosphere that brings out the very best in our sport." The meet included 36 different teams as well as participants that competed unattached. The Panthers hope to continue their tradition of hosting the season-opening meet next season at the Birmingham CrossPlex after success in 2023.
