MONTEVALLO, Ala. - The Birmingham-Southern men's and women's track and field teams had a solid showing as they continue to build toward the SAA Track and Field Championships at the end of April.

Birmingham-Southern top individual finishes

• Jailah Loving finished fourth place in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.33 and also finished ninth place in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.57. 
• Andrew Warhurst recorded a seventh place finish in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.67. He also ran the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 1:07.70.
• Two BSC runners, Sydney Smith and Trinity Jones, finished fifth and sixth respectively in the 400-meter dash with times of 1:03.38 and 1:04.55.
• Zaralyn Kriegler's 400-meter hurdles time of 1:16.66 earned her a sixth place finish.
• Bruce Davis finished fifth in shot put with a throw of 13.54m.
• Jaiden Maddox earned an eighth place finish with a throw of 13.40m in shot put.
• In triple jump, Maurice Sutherland got sixth place with a jump of 13.90m.

Birmingham-Southern top relay finishes

• Sydney Smith, Jailah Loving, Kya Gardner, and Trinity Jones represented BSC's women's 4x100-meter relay team and finished fifth with a time of 50.08.
• Kya Gardner, Trinity Jones, Zaralyn Kriegler, and Sydney Smith represented BSC's women's 4x400-meter relay team and finished with a time of 4:24.22.
