INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The NCAA released the Division III Baseball Championship bracket this afternoon with the Birmingham-Southern baseball team earning a bid to the Transylvania Regional as the #3 seed.

For the fifth consecutive season, the Panthers will be playing in the big dance. The team received an at-large bid after their impressive regional ranking and strength of schedule. The Transylvania Regional will be hosted by Transylvania and will begin on Friday, May 17. Transy will be the regional's No. 2 seed with No. 1 seed Spalding and No. 4 seed Beloit rounding out the four-team group.

The Panthers will begin NCAA Championship play in game two of the day against Transylvania on Friday with the first pitch scheduled for 2:30 p.m. EST.
