Pre-BSC:  Lettered two years for Coach Jamison Edwards at Jacksonville High School... helped lead the Eagles to the highest-scoring offense in school history... combined for over 3,300 yards of total offense and 38 touchdowns in two seasons... two-time All-County selection... recipient of 1,000-Yard Passer and 500-Yard Rusher team awards... was also a four-year letterman in baseball, earning All-County honors... three-year letterman in basketball... Gold Honor Stole recipient... Honors Diploma... National Honor Society member.
