Biography

2013:  Played in six games with one start... four tackles (2 solo) including one tackle-for-loss... pass break-up against LaGrange on Sept. 7.

2012:  Recorded three tackles in three games as a reserve defensive end... season-high three tackles against Ave Maria... made the SAA Academic Honor Roll.

2011:  Saw junior varsity action as a freshman... SCAC Academic Honor Roll member.

Pre-BSC:  Team Captain and Offensive MVP at Northside High School, where he played for Coach John Montgomery... All-West Alabama... Athlete's Foot & Thursday Night Lights Player of the Week... also lettered in basketball and was named Offensive MVP and All-Area Tournament... graduated as class valedictorian... National Beta Club and National Honor Society member... SGA President.

Personal:  Son of Larry and Anne Mims... born on Dec. 10, 1992... has an older sister, Heather... majoring in biology... father Larry played football, basketball and baseball at Marion Military Institute from 1972-73, and baseball at Alabama from 1974-75.
