BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Savannah Lee (Lascassas, Tenn./Oakland HS) went 4-for-6 including a home run and a double on the day to lead the No. 13 Birmingham-Southern softball team against Texas Lutheran.  But the Panthers could not string together runs and fell 7-5 and 4-1 Saturday to move to 2-4 overall.

Lee also earned three RBI and a run.  Kendall Hamm (Adamsville, Ala./Sumitron Christian HS) had a multi-hit day. She went 2-for-5 with two runs.

Haley Crumpton (Alabaster, Ala./Thompson HS) pitched a complete seven innings in the night cap and gave up just one earned run while striking out three.

The Panthers continue their home stand this Wednesday, Feb. 22 when they take on LaGrange in a doubleheader that begins at 4 p.m.
