LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Sophomore duo Katie Hart and Emma Jolley were named to the NFCA All-Region VI Third Team after their standout performances for the Birmingham-Southern softball team this season.

Katie Hart was an all-region selection for the first time in her career after being named to the All-SAA First Team. The centerfielder started every game for the Panthers this season and led the team with a .367 batting average while finishing first in hits with 54. Hart also led the conference in stolen bases with 29 and did not commit an error all season for the SAA runners-up.

Emma Jolley also earned all-region honors for the first time in her career after her All-SAA First Team selection this season. The shortstop started all 41 games and was extremely reliable at the plate and in the field. The sophomore finished just behind Hart in batting average with a .366 and in stolen bases with 21. In the field, Jolley finished second in the conference in assists with 88.
