MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Birmingham-Southern softball team fell 8-3 and 5-4 on the road Saturday at Rhodes College to move to 7-6 on the year, 3-2 in Southern Athletic Association play.

Catherine Coffey (Alabaster, Ala./Thompson HS) led the Panthers offensively.  She went 4-for-6 on the day.

The series continues Sunday afternoon.  First pitch is a 1 p.m.
