MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern softball team dropped a mid-week matchup at the University of Montevallo Wednesday night.  BSC moved to 7-8 overall with the loss.

Abby Spencer (Auburn, Ala./Auburn HS) led the offense, going 2-for-3 with a run.

The Panthers remain on the road.  They face Southern Athletic Association rival Sewanee on Saturday, March 11 in a doubleheader that starts at noon. The series will conclude with a single game on Sunday at noon.
