CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Birmingham-Southern softball team could not overcome a big third inning from Centre College Saturday morning and fell 8-0 in their third game of the Southern Athletic Association Tournament.  The Panthers went 1-2 in the tournament to conclude their season at 22-18 overall.

Kendall Hamm (Adamsville, Ala./Sumitron Christian HS) and Catherine Coffey (Alabaster, Ala./Thompson HS) recorded the Panthers hits.  Haley Crumpton (Alabaster, Ala./Thompson HS) struck out a game-high four batters in just 2.2 innings work, but received the loss. She finished with a career-high 12 wins on the year.
