Box Score BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern softball team came out swinging in its 13-0 rout of Robert Morris University, Springfield on Tuesday evening. BSC (11-7) finished with 13 hits in four innings of work.
Haley Crumpton (Alabaster, Ala./Thompson HS) pitched three hitless innings to pick up her 10th win of the season, striking out five of the 11 batters she faced. She and Kolyn Kyser (Springville, Ala./Springville HS) led the team offensively, going 2-for-3 with two runs and three RBI each.
Jojo Johnston (Chelsea, Ala./University of Mobile) and Kyrstyn Fisher (Alpharetta, Ga./Chattahoochee HS) also earned two hits in the win.
The Panthers face Hendrix College next in their first conference road series. The teams square off March 10-11. First pitch both days is set for noon.
