Box Score BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women's lacrosse team rolled past Oglethorpe 19-1 on the Panthers' Senior Day Saturday.
Sophomore Jade Cox (Rome, Ga./Darlington School) led the Panthers on offense with five goals. Four other BSC players scored multiple goals in the match, including junior Katie Gleeson (Franklin, Tenn./Franklin HS) who recorded her 100th career goal during the game.
Freshman Mari Clair Harmon (Houston, Texas/Northland Christian HS) got the start in goal for BSC, picking up six saves.
Five seniors were honored before the start of the contest: Ashley Shepherd (Dandridge, Tenn./Jefferson County HS), Natalie Daniel (Ooltewah, Tenn./Baylor School), Catherine Duncan (McDonald, Tenn./Baylor School), Jade Robinson (Birmingham, Ala./Auburn HS) and Rachel Stokes (Brentwood, Tenn./Ravenwood HS).
Shepherd and Daniel finished the game with four and three goals, respectively.
Birmingham-Southern will return to Krulak Stadium on Saturday, April 14 for its regular-season finale against Berry College. The match is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
