Box Score 2 JACKSONVILLE, Ala. – No. 15 Birmingham-Southern softball fell in day two the 2020 BSC Spring Classic Saturday. The Panthers (0-3) fell to No. 24 DePauw University 7-2 in nine innings and then dropped their night game against Mount St. Joseph 4-2.
Sam Hilyer (Prattville, Ala./Chattahoochee Valley CC) had a standout day at the plate. She hit .600, going 3-for-5 with a home run, a double, and two RBI. Morgan McGuire (Notasulga, Ala./Reeltown HS) led the team with four total hits, including a triple. And Samantha Kelly (Oakman, Ala./Oakman HS) hit .500 on the day.
BSC closes out the Classic tomorrow against Mount St. Joseph. Game time is set for 11 a.m.
