Box Score BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham-Southern softball team completed their first conference sweep of the season. The Panthers beat Rhodes 6-2 in their final game of the series. 
Birmingham-Southern was first on the board in the bottom of the first, taking the early lead. 
Sam Hilyer reached first on an error that allowed 
Morgan McGuire to score the first run for the Panthers. Pushing the lead to 2-0, 
Leah Wood singled to right field to score 
Kailey Walters. BSC ended the first inning with a lead over the Lynx. 
Rhodes remained scoreless until the top of the fourth inning, when they added two runs of their own to tie up the game at 2-2. The Panthers extended their lead in the bottom of the fourth, coming right back at the Lynx, with a two RBI single from 
Kaylyn Chapman. In the bottom of the fifth, 
Izzy Berkopec doubled down the right field line to score 
Piper Lowery. The final run for the Panthers was brought in by a single from 
Alyssa Fowler, scoring 
Hailee Bryan. Birmingham-Southern held off Rhodes from scoring again, ending the game 6-2.
