MONTGOMERY, AL. - The Birmingham-Southern women's golf team competed at the state capital in the Montgomery Country Club Women's Intercollegiate tournament on Sunday-Monday.

The Panthers had five players enter the tournament with Gentry Scott finishing inside of the top 50 after day one. She scored a team low 81 (+9) the first round. 

Round two of the tournament proved to be a tough one as the Panthers struggled to find a rhythm. Camryn Blackwell  shot under 90 (+18) both days. 

Montgomery Country Club showed how tough the course was on day two, with most players struggling to score low. 

The Panthers will look to continue their progress at the next tournament.
