JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. - Senior
Gentry Scott led the way for the Birmingham-Southern women's golf team as she had her best round of the season at the Jekyll Island Collegiate on Friday.
In the opening round on Friday, Scott was fantastic by shooting a 75 (+3) to place herself inside the top three of all individuals.
Izzy LoBue came in second on the team for BSC with a 90 (+18)
Camryn Blackwell was the leader for the Panthers in round two on Saturday. The sophomore had an extremely impressive 15-stroke improvement from round one and finished the day with an 82 (+10).
Gentry Scott finished closely behind her teammate with an 85 (+13) while
Izzy LoBue also shot in the 80s with an 88 (+16) to improve two strokes.
On day three,
Haylee Johnson continued her improvement from day one. After shooting three strokes lower on day two than day one, Johnson jumped up to a seven stroke improvement on day three. The sophomore led her team with an 87 (+15) in the final round while
Gentry Scott also tied her with an 87 (+15).
Izzy LoBue also shot in the 80s with an 89 (+17) to cap off the tournament.
